Chairman, The Aesthetic Surgery &
Laser Society (ASLS)
Leading the global medical industry through communication and collaboration.
Greetings!
This is Min Ho Lee, the 6th Chairman of the ASLS.
First, I would like to show my deepest gratitude to all our members for taking the time out of your busy schedules to join us for the 2026 ASLS Spring Congress.
To be honest, the current environment surrounding aesthetic medicine is not easy. With the decline in domestic patient numbers, many of you are likely feeling the direct impact of the economic downturn in your practices. However, at the same time, demand from international patients—particularly from Southeast Asia, China, and Japan—is clearly on the rise, and the market is shifting in a new direction. At this pivotal turning point, I believe it is the ASLS's duty to provide practical support to our members.
Another notable change is the global expansion of interest in K-Culture. Moving beyond movies and K-Pop, the world's attention is now focused on K-Beauty and K-Aesthetic Medicine. In fact, interest among international physicians regarding Korea's clinical standards and systems is higher than ever before. I believe this presents a significant opportunity to overcome our current challenges. Korea is one of the few countries capable of independently developing and manufacturing aesthetic medical devices, boasting both top-tier medical professionals and industrial foundation. Now is the time for academic field and industry to work together to leverage these strengths.
Through this Spring Congress, ASLS aims to present realistic directions and solutions for our members while seeking ways to survive and grow together through closer cooperation with the industry. I sincerely hope that this congress will be a meaningful time for all of you to discover new opportunities amidst difficult times and find practical help for your clinical practice.
As President, I will continue to lead the Society focusing on communication and harmony, listening carefully to your voices to make ASLS that actually helps you in real life. I would like to ask for your continued engagement and support, as well as your partnership for the shared growth of our industry. We are all in the midst of this great change. Together, we will navigate through this period.
Thank you.

2026 ASLS KOREA Spring Congress
Main Director
"Magic@Magok: From Vision to Reality"
Greetings!
I am Hosung Choi, Vice President of Demire, and it is my great honor to serve as the General Director for the 2026 ASLS Spring Congress.
The catchphrase for this year’s congress is “Magic@Magok: From Vision to Reality.” As this is the first time ASLS is hosting an event in Magok, we wanted to capture the anticipation and energy of this new space. Our goal is to bridge the gap between rapid technological innovations—such as AI—and “real-world clinical practice.” We invite you to join us in the moment where vision transcends theory and is fully realized in actual clinical settings.
The academic content of this congress focuses on meticulously refining the "balance between fundamentals and advanced practice." We have designed the curriculum so that the basics are reinforced and advanced topics are explored in-depth, ensuring they flow naturally within a single clinical stream rather than being disconnected. In addition, with the introduction of new contents such as ASLS Week and B-to-C programs, this congress will be a rich experience that combines academic depth with engaging visual and interactive elements.
I believe the greatest strength of the ASLS Congress is undoubtedly its "internationalization." We are moving beyond the formality of simply inviting international speakers. Through continuous passion and effort, we are leaping forward to become a truly global congress—from our academic standards and educational content to our expansive network.
I sincerely hope that this Spring Congress serves as a meaningful opportunity for all participants, both domestic and international, to broaden their global perspectives and explore new possibilities beyond just acquiring information. I look forward to the 2026 ASLS Spring Congress becoming a platform where we share the present of Korean aesthetic medicine and design its future together.
Thank you.
